LIMERICK, PA — Could a medical marijuana manufacturer be opening up shop in Limerick?

According to the Pottstown Mercury, Keystone Medical Cannabis LLC. is considering moving into the facility located at 880 Enterprise Drive.

The group’s founder, Limerick resident Noel Billingsley, gave a presentation to the Limerick Board of Supervisors on Tuesday and explained his plan to obtain a license to grown marijuana at the plant.

With the community’s support, approval of the license by the Pennsylvania Department of Health is seen as more likely.

Products made in the plant would be sold to help individuals suffering from a range of ailments including cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease, and other illnesses, the report states.
