Out of nearly 200 applicants, just 12 will be the first to legally grow and process medical marijuana in Pennsylvania. The program splits the state into 6 regions, each with 2 growing facilities. The only Susquehanna Valley growers are in 1 in Franklin County and 2 in Berks County. Next week, 27 dispensaries will be announced — with four expected to be named in the Susquehanna Valley.
