The Department of Health has released the applications of the 12 companies awarded the state’s first medical marijuana permits for grower/processor facilities.

Initially, state officials said the applications would not be made public until next month due to the logistics of redacting sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, and hosting thousands of pages online.

Pennsylvania has not yet released the applications that were considered but did not result in a permit. A spokesman for Gov. Tom Wolf said those will be released soon, perhaps as early as next week.
